Fort Simon Pinotage 2022

Intriguing the senses, this Pinotage presents a mesmerising bouquet of ripe berries, plum and chocolate, intricately interwoven with the refined complexities from twelve months' maturation in French oak barrels. One-third of the barrels were first-fill, infusing a potent intensity, whilst another third were second-fill, adding nuanced layers, and the final third were third-fill, providing a touch of understated elegance. The palate is caressed by velvety tannins and a profusion of dark fruit flavours, subtly punctuated by a hint of vanilla. The Bottelary terroir radiates through a lingering, sophisticated finish.
